PURE FLOW 8-LAYER WATER FILTER
13.5 cm in diameter
30 cm tall
We recommend replacing the filter after approximately 5,000 liters or every 6–12 months, depending on usage and water quality.
Is the water remineralized in the water filter?
Yes, remineralization occurs naturally in the filter and lasts for about 6 months to a year, depending on the water flow. To maintain its effectiveness, the filter needs to be replaced after that time.
How do you install the PURE FLOW water filter?
PURE FLOW is a convenient countertop filter that easily connects directly to your kitchen faucet. The filter is attached using a hose and an adapter that fits onto the end of the faucet. Installation is quick, requires no tools, and involves no modifications—you can start using the filter immediately after installation. Along with your water filter, you’ll receive a QR code that links to an installation guide. You can also watch the video below, where our retailer Pernilla Stjerström clearly demonstrates the installation process: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/HA4QeSwfJlY
Does the filter remove PFAS and microplastics?
Tests and analyses for PFAS and microplastics are currently underway. We’ll share the results as soon as they’re available. We’ll provide an update as soon as we know more.
To what extent is fluoride removed?
Independent laboratory tests show that the filter effectively removes at least 80% of the fluoride in the water.
When I start flushing water through my newly installed filter, the water turns gray—is that normal?
Yes, that’s completely normal. The grayish or slightly blackish water is caused by carbon dust being flushed out of the carbon filter at first. We recommend that, after installation, you turn on the faucet and let the water run through the system for at least 30 minutes. Once the water runs clear, it’s ready to use right away for drinking, washing, or cooking.
The water flow has become slower than when I installed my PURE FLOW—what’s causing this? This is completely natural and is usually because the ceramic filter has trapped particles and contaminants from your drinking water. In other words—substances that were previously in the water and would otherwise have passed through are now being trapped in the filter.
To restore the flow, simply follow these steps:
Open your PURE FLOW, remove the filter, and clean the ceramic part at the bottom with the green cloth provided. After cleaning, the water flow usually returns to normal.
Does a filter come with my PURE FLOW water purifier when I order it?
Yes, a filter is always included when you orderyour PURE FLOW water purifier, so you can start using it right away. The filter has a lifespan of about 6–12 months, depending on usage and water quality. As a general guideline, we recommend replacing the filter after about 5,000 liters of flow. By replacing the filter on time, you ensure that your water purifier continues to perform optimally and provides you with clean, fresh water every day.
Is it safe to drink water directly from the PURE FLOW water purifier without boiling it first?
YES, the PURE FLOW water purifier provides not only clean but also safe and healthy water right away. Boiling water before consumption has long been a common practice to assure consumers that the water is free of bacteria. A good filtration and purification solution, on the other hand, removes harmful contaminants from tap water, such as chlorine, heavy metals, rust, lead, and many other substances. You can, of course, boil the filtered water for cooking and hot beverages, but do not use hot water through the filter.
Can I use the PURE FLOW water purifier for untreated groundwater?
Untreated groundwater can contain a very wide range of contaminants. This makes it even more important to use the PURE FLOW water purifier, since the unit improves the quality of the untreated groundwater. For this type of water, you should simply boil the filtered water before drinking it. Don’t worry if you notice white specks in the filtered water after boiling. These are calcium flakes, which are not harmful. The filtered water is free of impurities and does not convert magnesium and calcium ions into limescale deposits. The filtered water retains only the mineral ions that are beneficial to the body. As the filtered water cools after boiling, small particles may form on the surface or at the bottom of the container. This is not dangerous, as these minerals are healthy and safe to consume. If the water comes from an area with calcareous soil, calcium levels may be particularly high.
If the filtered water smells strange and tastes different, what should I do?
Changes in smell and taste can occur if water has been left in the unit for a few weeks. In that case, remove the filter and drain out the excess water. Then rinse the housing and the unit for at least 15 minutes before using it again.
Can I pour hot water through the PURE FLOW water filter?
No! Hot water affects both the ceramic filter and the carbon filter in the unit and reduces the quality of filtration.
Does boiling PURE FLOW water affect its health-promoting properties?
No, when the filtered water is heated, the molecular clusters temporarily break apart. As the water cools, the molecules return to their stable structure, with all their health-promoting properties intact.
Is PURE FLOW water suitable for infants?
Absolutely! Our body fluids naturally consist of small clusters of molecules. Giving infants and children PURE FLOW filtered water—with its small clusters of molecules and health-promoting properties—is important for optimal hydration, growth, and development. PURE FLOW water is completely safe and the best water you can give your children.
Can people who are sick benefit from PURE FLOW water?
Yes. Cellular dehydration is actually one of the underlying causes of many diseases. Health professionals and doctors always recommend drinking plenty of water when you’re sick, in pain, or taking medication. Water rehydrates the cells and helps the body flush out toxins. PURE FLOW water reaches the cells better and faster than most other types of water and can contribute to faster recovery and improved well-being. Anyone who is sick should drink at least 10–15 glasses of PURE FLOW water per day during their recovery.
Is PURE FLOW alkaline pH water suitable for facial cleansing?
Yes, absolutely. The filtered water does not disrupt the skin’s natural pH balance (the so-called “acid mantle”). Unlike tap water, PURE FLOW water is completely free of skin-aging contaminants and chlorine. Its bioavailable minerals and oxygen support the skin’s natural recovery process and can result in a healthier and clearer complexion.
